Walks

From Acorn Lodge it’s approximately a 40 minute walk to Cockington, this is a very easy, pleasant walk. Once there if refreshments are required you have a few options, our favourites are either the Tea Gardens where you can be entertained by the piano player or the Drum Inn. Both serve excellant food and drinks.

Turn right out of the gate at Acorn Lodge and head toward Bampfylde Road, turn right at Bampfylde and head down the hill towards Avenue Road, turn left and head towards Torre Abbey (its probably easiest to cross the road to the right hand pavement at the junction of Bampfylde and Avenue Roads rather than cross at the traffic lights.
