Things to see in Torquay

Often referred to as the ‘Queen of the Riviera’, you will find hours of entertainment be it a short stroll down to the harbour for retail therapy and coffee, a boat trip up the coast to Paignton or Brixham, relaxing on the beach or more cultural activities such as:

  • Dame Agatha Christie, the world’s most famous mystery and crime writer, was born in Torquay and lived much of her life in the area.
  • Kents Cavern – Prehistoric Caves
  • Cockington Country Park – a traditional country park
  • Torre Abbey
